Our Scholarships
The James & Jennifer McClain Scholarship supports the pursuit of secondary education by single parents living in Delaware. The fund awards at least two single, working parents up to $1,000 to assist with tuition, fees, books, technology, child care, and other related expenses. Applications for the 2025-2026 year are due October 15th. Awardees will be announced at the annual meeting in November 2025.
The Move Forward Project was created to support opportunities for children abroad to advance their lives through education. We offer supplemental financial support to existing scholarship funds that provide books, uniforms, tuition, and meals to children from primary school through university abroad. Our primary recipient is The Scholarship Fund of Fellowship Tabernacle Church of Kingston, Jamaica. This scholarship fund supports the following schools in the Kingston area: Pembroke Hall High School, Pembroke Hall Primary, Maverley Primary and Infant, Half-Way-Tree Primary, and Duhaney Park Primary. Donations for the Move Forward Project are distributed annually in August.
